There Is No God?!

Psalm 14:1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.”

This is a psalm of David, and the same word is also recorded below.

Psalm 53:1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that doeth good.”

Thus, the Bible not only calls one who says there is no God a “fool,” but also calls such a person “wicked.”

Psalm 10:4The wicked, in the pride of his countenance, saith, He will not require it. All his thoughts are, There is no God.”

This is because, in the Bible, “wickedness” means not fearing God and forsaking the word of God.

Jeremiah 2:19 “Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and a bitter, that thou hast forsaken Jehovah thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts.”

Thus, the thought that there is no God is false, and therefore we must not have this thought. As God also said to Moses, He is “I AM,” the One who clearly exists.

Exodus 3:13-1413 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”

And as God clearly made known through the prophet Isaiah, the One who has existed before all things, that is, from the beginning, is God.

Isaiah 41:4 “Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Jehovah, the first, and with the last, I am he.”

Therefore, the Bible begins in this way:

Genesis 1:1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Truly, in the beginning God created all things in this world by His word.

Psalm 148:5 “Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For he commanded, and they were created.”

And the only One who has lived eternally from the beginning and never dies is God alone.

1 Timothy 6:15-1615 which in its own times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16 who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power eternal. Amen.”

Jesus also called God “the living Father.”

John 6:57 “As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me.”

But in truth, the “living God” who was with us is none other than “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Matthew 1:22-2322 Now all this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us.”

Thus, the One who personally revealed the “living God” in the body of a man is our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 1:14, 1814 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth. 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

Philippians 2:6-86 who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; 8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross.”

Hebrews 1:3who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.”

Therefore, through Jesus, who came in the flesh, we can know that God exists and see God.

John 14:7-117 If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.”

Therefore, now, through the eternally living God from the beginning, our Lord Jesus Christ, we must clearly know and believe that God exists. And through Jesus, who always lives, we must all obtain complete salvation and receive eternal life, so that we also may live forever.

Revelation 10:6 “and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things that are therein...”

John 1:1-41 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

Hebrews 7:24-2524 but he, because he abideth for ever, hath his priesthood unchangeable. 25 Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

John 11:25-2625 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he die, yet shall he live; 26 and whosoever liveth and believeth on me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Amen. Now we must receive eternal life by believing in the God who lives eternally from the beginning, our Lord Jesus Christ.

In addition, some people, because they say there is no God and do not believe that God exists, mistakenly think that those who have wealth and power rule this world. But we must know that this is never the case. For in the end, not the will of man, but the will of God, that is, the word of God, will stand completely.

Proverbs 19:21 “There are many devices in a man’s heart; But the counsel of Jehovah, that shall stand.”

Daniel 4:28-3328 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. 29 At the end of twelve months he was walking in the royal palace of Babylon. 30 The king spake and said, Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for the royal dwelling-place, by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty? 31 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken: The kingdom is departed from thee: 32 and thou shalt be driven from men; and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field; thou shalt be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over thee; until thou know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hair was grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.”

Truly, it is not man, but the Most High God, our Lord Jesus Christ, who rules over the kingdom of men!

Amen.
